The first of many calming selections, leading paint producer Sherwin-Williams revealed its 2022 color selection to be Evergreen Fog. With elements of gray and green married together in a soothing blend, Evergreen Fog is the perfect choice for virtual learning rooms and home offices.
HGTV Home by Sherwin-Williams also released a separate 2022 color palette filled with choices that pair perfectly with Evergreen Fog. The series features colors that offer a fresh perspective on rooted, natural tones and offer homeowners easy backdrops for bold furniture pieces and décor.
PANTONE – Very Peri
In a bold move, PANTONE created Very Peri as its 2022 color of the year. One of the most anticipated color selections, the 2022 choice is a vibrant swatch of blue with distinct undertones of red and violet. The choice stands out amongst the other annual choices but acts as a deep, calming tone, perfect in a communal space.

Behr Paint – Breezeway
Continuing the theme of soft selections, the official 2022 Behr Paint color of the year is Breezeway, a muted green shade reminiscent of mint and sage hues. Behr Paint quotes the color choice offers “an open invitation to experience the world with a fresh perspective, both within the home and beyond the front door.” Perfect for building a serene atmosphere, Breezeway is sure to be a popular choice among homeowners looking for a neutral palette.
Benjamin Moore – October Mist
Another calm, green hue, Benjamin Moore unveiled October Mist as the official 2022 color selection. An earthy tone that highlights the beauty of the outdoors, October Mist puts a fresh spin on neutral options to launch home décor into a new year of design.
PPG Paints – Olive Sprig
Adding an “organic liveliness” to any space, PPG Paints announced its 2022 color of the year as Olive Sprig. Another neutral and versatile green hue, Olive Sprig is described by PPG Paints as a “versatile color that lives well inside or outside.” As outdoor living continues to grow in popularity, Olive Spring is the perfect choice to add a little life to your outdoor lounge area or add a natural look to a space.
